Staff and students took part in the Redruth Christmas procession after a special invite from local councillors.
The annual Christmas lights switch on event took place on Saturday (NOV24) from 5pm. There was much festivity in the town with many families and community members either taking part or spectating.
The procession saw those involved walking up to the top of town, turning left into shoots Row and going past Flower Pot Chapel Car Park and back out onto Fore Street towards The Miner’s Statue.
Pool Academy’s Principal Claire Meakin, staff and students donned their Christmas hats and joined in with the fun.
Miss Meakin said: “It was a lovely vibrant event, with students from a number of local schools taking part, stalls, music and even a Wassail.
“Thank you to Councillor Ian Thomas and Lara McShee for helping us with the arrangements.
“Our students had a wonderful time taking part in the procession.
"I am very proud of our students who joined in with this fantastic event. We had so much fun getting into the Christmas spirit, along with other local schools and community groups.”
