Three talented students have been chosen as this year’s Christmas card competition winners.
Three students; one from Year 7, one from Year 8 and one from Year 10 are this year’s winners.
The judge was Principal Claire Meakin who had the tough job of whittling down all the entries to just three winners.
This is the third time Natalie Ellis, art teacher, has run the competition but said she was impressed by the standard of entries this year.
Mrs Ellis organised the competition to find an amazing illustration for a festive card that the school can send out to well-wishers.
The three winners will receive five copies of the card along with an art pack from Turners Art supplies.
All entrants were given achievement points for their efforts.
Miss Meakin said: “It was an incredibly hard job to pick out the best card designs as they were all so good.
“I chose the three students as top winners because I could visualise them being printed into cards that we could send to friends of Pool Academy.
“Well done to everyone who took part. You all made my job as judge very difficult this year.”
