Music students at Pool Academy were getting into the summer mood by learning to play Samba
Emily Cromey, Head of Music, said she was teaching children how to learn samba this at the end of last term.
Students played on a range of percussion instruments including large and small drums, cow bells and shakers.
They have been using the school practice rooms during their lessons to get the hang of the different instruments.
Mrs Cromey, Head of Music at Pool Academy, said: "Last term we were learning how rhythm and movement is used in Samba music by using Samba drums and percussion to enjoy, have fun and celebrate. We were working towards putting on a big Samba procession around the school."
