Annual Women in Science day

Students have been invited to take part in the Annual Women in Science day hosted by the University of Exeter.

The event takes place on Tuesday, July 17, at the Penryn Campus from 9.45am until 2.30pm. Number of places are limited and so any students from Pool Academy who are interested should sign up straight away. It will be worked on a first come first served basis.

Jack Jones, science teacher at Pool Academy, said: “Alongside inspirational talks from renowned female academics, students will have the opportunity to undertake subject sessions, discuss university with current undergraduates and explore the campus.”
Students taking part in the event will be transported to and from the campus. They will need to bring a pack lunch with them and must wear school uniform.
