Students performed a dance show based on musicals to friends and family at the end of last week.
The girls had been working hard all week learning and perfecting their steps for Friday afternoon’s performance as part of Curriculum Enrichment Week.
The show started at about 2.15pm in the school’s main hall. Audiences were treated to a showcase of numbers from musicals including Hairspray, The Greatest Showman and Little Shop of Horrors.
Katherine Francis said: “These girls have been absolutely amazing this week. The quality of the dancing has been great. They had only learnt one of the dances in the show that morning. They have been learning dance after dance all week long. It has been a tough week and a hot week and I am so proud of what the girls had achieved.”
The Dance Fever group enjoyed their week, despite the heat, which saw them practising a variety of dance genres. On the Wednesday Harvey from 4Real Dance and Fitness dropped in to show the girls some of his moves.
