Students had a fantastic day last term when they visited the Eden Project.
A small group of children from Pool Academy visited the attraction which grows a wide variety of plants both inside two domes and outside in the grounds.
The group took note of how the plants were grown and researched into which ones they could try and grow for themselves back at school.
Katherine Francis, from Pool Academy, said: “The students had a fantastic day exploring the Eden Project. With their excellent behaviour and politeness they were a credit to the school and earned themselves an ice cream.
“Everyone enjoyed the day and we had great fun imagining what weird and wonderful plants we could grow ourselves.”
