Singers enjoyed musical celebrations.

Singers from Pool Academy loved taking part in a musical celebration event in Redruth recently.

A selection of students was invited to sing in the Cornwall Music Hub’s Songfest at the Regal Theatre in the town.

They took part in the event alongside a number of other schools in the Crofty Primary Partnership.

Chloe Rowe, a teacher at Pool Academy, said: “The event went amazingly and we we sung ‘A Million Dreams’ from The Greatest Showman. Beth Johns sang ‘My Heart will go on’ as a solo piece too.

“The show was a sell out and students loved it. Since the event they have sung in assembly.”

Emily Cromey, Head of Faculty for Music, Art, Drama and PE, said: “We were very excited to

be involved.”
