Parents invited to join camera club project

Pool Academy parents are being invited to join in with a camera club project being developed for members of the community.

Make it Better CIC (mitber), Smartline and Coastline are creating a community mobile phone photography project.

The company representatives are looking for parents/ carers who could be interested in becoming involved.

They will be offering two different projects. The first is for people to meet up and take photographs to edit and present at a community event. The second is for people to look at local archive photographs so they can turn them into a montage.

A form has been created for residents of Camborne or Redruth to sign to show their interest.

Images can be taken on mobile phones or tablets to create digital photographs for the project.

Those taking part will also be shown how to share and save digital photographs, focus and exposure, black and whites, light adjustments, edit and select photographs.

Ruth Purdy, from Mitber, said: β€œThe project is taking place during school hours so I would suggest this project targets parents/ carers of children attending Pool Academy.”

She added she would like to see Redruth Camera club involved too.
