Much-anticipated Super Saturdays return

Staff at Pool Academy are looking forward to welcoming primary pupils to their much-anticipated Super Saturday events.

Starting in September there will be five Saturday mornings filled with exciting workshops for children in Year 6.

The first event starts on September 15 with Drama, Pizza cookery, Art Attack and Football Academy workshops.

The events will run until October 13 with activities including archery, orienteering, felt making and team building.

Alistair Durant, Head of Year 8 and Transition Lead, said: “These fun sessions will give pupils the chance to see what life is like at Pool Academy. There is an amazing amount of fun planned for the Saturdays so I urge people to book early. Spaces will fill up fast.”

Miss Meakin, Pool Academy Principal, said: “We are looking forward to hosting the much-anticipated Super Saturday events at the Academy.

“They have been such a success in the past and we hope to make them even better this year.

“I look forward to seeing new and familiar faces at Pool Academy attending these workshops in the new academic year.”
