Talented students from Pool Academy performed a showcase of singing, acting and dancing at their Spring Show.
Hundreds of pupils from primary schools in the area were the first audience to watch the production.
Students presented a number of monologues, pieces from the High School Musical, a dance from The Greatest Showman and much more.
Youngsters watching seemed to enjoy themselves especially when they were invited to join in with a rendition of the Baby Shark song.
Teachers Emily Cromey, Head of Faculty for Music, Drama, Art and PE, and Jamie Best, Drama teacher, helped to organise the event but all the work was done by Pool Academy students.
Mr Best said: “The students have been working incredibly hard over the last few months to create some amazing pieces of work.
“The performance was made up of a variety of different things and we also had the wonderful school band. Some of the Year 9s performed monologues. We also had some amazing students working back stage on the sound and lighting.”
Mrs Cromey said: “It was wonderful to present our first performance of the year to the Primary School pupils. Our students loved taking part and getting such an amazing reception from the audience.
“They have all worked so hard on the show and it was brilliant to see them doing so well and enjoying it. I am so proud of how many talented people we have at Pool Academy.
“Well done to everyone.”
Students are now due to hold another show on Thursday evening for members of the community.
