“We are delighted that the final exhibition before the summer holidays shows work by young people from Pool Academy.

“The year 11 GCSE exhibition is fantastic.  I am so impressed by the work on display. The range of ideas, materials and creativity is inspiring.

“Art teacher Mrs Ellis and her team have done a wonderful job.

“The students, their families and friends can be very proud.”

Mrs Ellis said: “It’s been a very creative and busy year in the Art department this year.

“The Year 11s have worked really hard to complete all the requirements needed to pass GCSE Art and have shown high levels of commitment and maturity to their work.

“The work is very diverse and individual with each student having the opportunity to explore their own interests.

“I am very proud of all the students and delighted that we are lucky enough to display their work in the Pool School Gallery.”
