Sophie spends every Monday and Friday at the Bev-Lyn School of Dancing when Pool Academy finishes for the day. She enjoys taking part in ballet, modern and tap.

She said: “I like ballet, I think it gives me good posture.

“I have been dancing since I was three years old.

“I do take exams and I have got a couple of distinctions. I am hoping to take my grade three and I really want to get a distinction, which is quite hard to get.”

Sophie hopes to be involved in a number of dance performances in the future.

The former Treloweth Primary School Pupil said she enjoys maths at Pool Academy. She also likes the after school netball club.

She said: “The teachers are all nice and I am fitting in well. I have already made three or four new friends.”
