Top BMXer creates career documentary

A top BMXer at Pool Academy has created a film documentary showing the highs and lows of her biking career.

Micah, Year 7, has been riding without stabilisers since she was three years old and has competed all over the world

She is currently World Number six after competing in Zolder, Belgium in July. She raced against 74 girls from all around the world which was a huge achievement after coming back after injury only five weeks before.

Over the years she has collected scores of trophies marking her successes and has even been named number three in the Belgium World Championships when she was seven.

The former Illogan Primary School pupil, said: “I started racing when I was five years old. Over the years I have won too many trophies. In 2015 I went to the Belgium World Championships and was number three.”

Micah has created a film on her ipad to show the highlights of her racing including the time she came off her bike and broke her collarbone. This has now healed ready for her to continue her BMX career.

She said: “I want to be a BMXer when I was older.”
