11th October 2019
This week has been incredibly busy for our Year 11 students with visits to both Truro and Cornwall colleges. Our prefects also met to review their priorities for this year in preparation for our next student leadership team meeting. The agenda will include a review of our knowledge organisers, classroom routines and our website, along with progress towards an eco-school award. Please encourage your child to talk to their SLT representative about their views and if there is anything else they think the group should be discussing.
Did you see the Cornwall Live article featuring some videos from our Year 7s? The link is here: https://www.cornwalllive.com/special-features/pool-academy-pupils-share-what-3331584 We are incredibly impressed with how positively our Year 7s have made the transition from primary to secondary school and they are already making a brilliant impact across our community. We look forward to meeting our Year 7 parents on Thursday (17th) for our tutor evening to continue the discussions.
Thank you to all the parents who have been able to complete the parental questionnaire so far. The link is available here: Parental Questionnaire Autumn 2019 We will close the questionnaire next Thursday and update you with a summary of the responses before halferm. If you are willing to discuss your responses, please don’t forget to leave your name on the form
